New state regulations have stated that any new resident to the state can apply for a concealed carry permit after one day of residency.

It isn’t unusual to see an increase in the number of people taking concealed carry classes and apply for the CCDW license each year. The numbers have been going up each year consistently for about a decade. The increase however from 2014 to 2015 was much higher than normal at almost 20%.
